Short Overview
A wildlife Safari to the very best stunning Tanzania national parks where you will be able to see vast number of wild animals and birds, this tour takes you to the northern circuit destination visiting the Serengeti plains, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park. The tour will also include visiting beautiful beaches of Zanzibar where you will enjoy the paradise of Africa.
Day 1: Arrival & Airport pick up.
You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport by our staff and transferred to ARUSHA for resting after a long flight. Our staff will answer all your queries regarding your upcoming safari and provide you with a short briefing as well. You will enjoy dinner and overnight in Arusha.
Day 2: Arusha – Manyara National Park.
On your drive from Arusha sit back and enjoy the scenic views of the changing vegetation. The drive will approximately take you two hours. You will be able to see different human activities such as farms and stones quarries from the roads. You might also see Maasai boys with their cattle grazing or moving in search of water and grass. Lake Manyara National park though a small park is perfect for bird watching. Game in Lake Manyara includes elephants, wildebeests along with so many giraffes, and buffaloes. In addition, the park is also very famous for its large number of zebras, impalas, warthogs and waterbucks. After the adventure of the day you will head to Karatu for overnight.
Day 3: Karatu to Serengeti National Park.
This day starts with early breakfast at your hotel followed by a drive through Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park. Take a breath and enjoy the beautiful scenery rolling into the distance as far as your eyes can see. You will head in the central part of the park known as the Seronera circuit which is very rich in wildlife habitat, the place is featured by the Seronera River that provides Water for the Animals.
You will spot thousands upon thousands of animals in herds; wildebeests and zebras migrating together, tall and graceful giraffes, jumping antelopes and gazelles, the powerful African elephant and the most respected group of the predators.
You might have the chance to spot lean cheetahs and shy leopards, foraging hyenas, and last but not least, the king himself; the lion.
Day 4 and 5: Serengeti National Park.
Early morning game drives in the Serengeti plains driving from Serengeti central to North. Enjoy an unforgettable sunrise game drive across the Serengeti and get a chance to appreciate the view as the sun set fire to the savannah while predators such as leopards and lions hunt for their morning meal.
Alternatively you might want to explore the untouched parts of Serengeti as you casually drift away from the surface of the earth in the early hours of the morning, safe in the basket of a hot air balloon. . This is an additional activity if you like to add it then confirm with your safari expert.
After breakfast you will proceed to explore the vast savannah of Serengeti in your open roof vehicle with your packed lunch. Take your hat and sunglasses out and enjoy what nature has in store for you.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
Say goodbye to the Serengeti with a morning game drive and later in the afternoon start heading towards the Ngorongoro conservation area with a game drive en route. Your driver will drive on a different route from the one you did before. This drive gives you an opportunity to glimpse what the two world heritage sites have to offer from the golden savannah grasslands of Serengeti to the montane forest of Ngorongoro.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
Taking picnic lunches with you, your drive today will lead you to descend down the crater floor for a full exploration of what the crater has to offer by tracking game with your guide. The crater is 610m deep and 260km2 wide, making it the largest Caldera in the world. The crater contains all the big five animals (lions, elephants, rhinos, leopard and buffaloes), hippos, cheetah, antelopes and spotted hyena. Also in the crater you can see different species of birds. Other game such as velvet monkey, jackal, foxes, rock and tree hyraxes, warthog, gnu, zebra and hare can be spotted
Day 8: Lake Eyasi cultural Activities
This is a day to explore the cultural life of the Datoga and the Hadzabe in Lake Eyasi. These are among the few people that still practice ancient traditions. You will get a chance to see the Datoga pastoralists and their traditional ways of life. Get a chance to visit their homes and practice in their traditional dances.
The Hadzabe on the other hand are a hunting community still practicing the ancient ways of getting food by hunting and gathering using their traditional tools such as bows and arrows. On your visit with the Hadzabe you will get a chance to see them making these tools and you can even participate in their small game hunt.
Day 9: Tarangire National Park.
Drive from your hotel to Tarangire National Park after early breakfast. Tarangire National Park is known for its elephant’s herds of up to 300, migratory wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, impala, gazelle, hartebeest and eland grazing and browsing in the dry river bed. There is Silale swamp that attracts 550 varieties of birds, the most breeding species you’ll see in one habitat anywhere in the world! The park is also home of tree climbing pythons, as well as lions and leopards.
After the excitements of the day you will drive to Arusha airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
Day 10: Prison Island & Nakupenda sand Bank Day Tour
Morning after breakfast at 08:00hrs, you will be picked up for Nakupenda sandbank with Prison Island Day trip; Nakupenda (In English means I LOVE YOU) is the name of an amazing sandbank located just off Stone town. A Full day trip dedicates Prison Island’s giants tortoises visit, snorkeling, sunbathing, the taste of Seafood and seasonal fruits. Snorkeling off Prison Island, viewing a stunning array of colored corals and tropical fish of the islands before reaching our dream place Nakupenda. A place where brilliant birdlife exists, very white sand, limpid, and crystalline water
You would live in the natural reserve that hospitable by its naturalistic and their proper pearls of Indian Ocean. The language of the white sands and their alternative sea appear and disappear. Enjoy our seasonal fruits, sand bathing, and our Seafood lunch. Relax on the sandbank or discover marine life around the sandbank before riding our motorboat or sailing back to Stone Town.
Day 11: Zanzibar (Safari Blue)
Morning after breakfast at 08:00hrs, you will take for Safari blue Safari blue trip in Zanzibar is one among the best sea adventures in the Zanzibar island, not only sailing along with the traditional dhow but also you can have snorkeling, swim, and relaxing on a white sandy beach on a sandbank. In addition to all, there are plenty of sea foods whom are all waiting for you to be tested, dhow departs from fumba or kikungwi beach at 09:00am and we get back around 04:30pm. With your Safari Blue guide, you will explore the mangrove lagoon hidden inside the Kwale Island. Swimming into the protected mangrove forest at high tide is an unforgettable experience. This mangrove lagoon is famous known as natural swimming pool.
Day 12: Spice Tour & Jozani National Park.
Today you will go on an excursion to the spice and fruit plantations close to Stone town for the famous Spice Tour. We have developed a special spice tour with in-depth information not only about spices but also organically grown herbs and a detailed description of their traditional uses in medicine cosmetics and cooking. After the tour, we invite for an opulent lunch at our guides’ home, where you can taste the spices and fruits. After lunch, we take you to your beach resort. On the way, you will pass Jozani Forest, the last habitat of the rare endemic Red Colobus Monkey.
With a local guide, you stroll through Jozani Chwaka National Park and look at the rare monkeys. If you wish you can even wander down the boardwalk to the fascinating Mangrove Ecosystem.
Day 13: Zanzibar Mnemba Island Tour.
Morning after breakfast at 08:00hrs, you will take for Mnemba Atoll & Swim with Turtles Mnemba Island is very famous for the best snorkeling in Zanzibar, number of tourists have been recommending this destination due to how best it is.
Start your journey in this 5-hour snorkeling tour in Zanzibar and travel to Mnemba Atoll in the northeast coast of the Island. A Marine Reserve, well known for its fish life like lionfish, moray eels, stingrays, and turtles swimming around in the shallows. Venture further out the reef drops away into a big reef wall inhabited by schools of giant trevally and emperor fish hunting, yellow snappers, barracuda and if possible napoleon fish and turtles.
The snorkeling trips are accompanied by an experienced guide who will help you find the fish, answer any questions you have about them and ensure you are safe and comfortable.
Day 14 – 16: Full day Relaxing in Zanzibar Island
You have a full day Relaxing in your Hotel enjoying the untouched beautiful beaches and hotel activities.
Day 17: Zanzibar Airport
This will be your last day in Zanzibar our team will pick you up Depending on your International Flight Schedule and Transfer you to Zanzibar Airport, to connect with your International flight back home.
