- Overview
This 5 days itinerary will show you a lovely selection of Rwanda. You will go for a cultural tour, gorilla tracking and wildlife safari.
You will visit Kinigi Cultural Village in Ruhengeri to enjoy the unique dancing styles of the Batwa.
Thereafter, you go for the thrilling banana and sorghum beer production experiences.
You will also visit Akagera National park, Volcanoes National Park and Kigali city. Therefore you will have a variety of activities during the safari.
Volcanoes National Park is home to many primate species, including the mountain gorillas.
The highlight of the safari is tracking the mighty mountain Gorillas.
You will go for an excursion into Buhanga forest or drive to the beautiful twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera.
You will be welcomed by your tour guide who then transfers you to the hotel to check-in. After settling in your hotel and resting, the guide picks you up to start off your Kigali city tour. From this tour, you get special experience about Rwanda and the city during the pre-colonial period, colonial and post-Colonial periods i.e. through independence, genocide period and current trends. This is done by visiting different sites in Kigali and its suburbs. Return to the Hotel in the evening for dinner and a night’s rest.
