The great migration is an epic journey of survival; it is the largest movement of animals in the world where over 1 million wildebeest make this epic journey accompanied by about 400,000 zebras and 200,000 antelopes. The numbers are so huge that the spectacle can be seen from space.
The journey takes animals from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area into the Serengeti and then up through the plains of the Serengeti into the Maasai Mara in Kenya and back again.

The animals will then reach northern Serengeti near the Tanzania and Kenya border; in this region, the migrating herds have to brave the crocodile-infested Mara River in order to reach the Masai Mara. These four days will provide an amazing wildlife viewing experience as the herds brave the turbulent waters and the ferocious crocodiles of the Mara River. Some will lose their lives but the majority will cross to a land of abundance.
